One of the things that I have noticed is that couples tend to complain about boredom and complacency in a relationship. Just imagine being with your significant other for over 3 to 5 years, and having barely anything to talk about. Your mind tends to get bored, and you might end up looking at other people without knowing it. Don’t worry it’s not cheating, we all fantasize. However, if you truly want to know if that person is the one for you, it’s time to take an adventure.

When you travel to a new place with your significant other, there are some challenges that both of you guys will have to face. You will have to plan out the trip together, know where to go and eat, know where to get transportation, know what to pack, find the best hotels, and various other trials and tribulation. You will have to work as a team with your partner to plan your journey. When you strategize and discussed new ideas, you get to know each other better in an intellectual level. This will help deepen your relationship with your significant other. It could also help you learn if that person is right for you. Afterall, you want to know if their train of thought matches with yours or if it’s completely different. You and your lover will experience new places, food, challenges, and learning new things together. This will give you more to talk about and reminisce. All those factors can instill nostalgic feeling. It will be like the time that you first met him or her.

I always advise couples to take a travel trip together whenever they get too comfortable. Keep in mind that a complacent relationship is like eating pizza every day. You love pizza, but having it every day can get kind of boring. When you travel, you switch things up. Instead of having pizza, you’ll have sushi, Korean barbecue, salad, and variety of food. Basically, traveling brings new things to the relationship. It spices it up, romanticizes it, and even does wonders to your sex life. Believe me, I have noticed a difference between couples who travel and those that don’t. The ones that do travel are always very cuddly and adorable with each other. It’s as if they are in the beginning phase of their relationship. The ones that don’t tend to be more like roommates you can easily see that they lost the passion and have fizzled out. If you don’t want to lose the passion, and want to keep the flame going, then why not book a ticket now and bring your partner to a whole new world.
